CERESAV during home visits and follow up community visits realized that while many survivors of Acid attacks face socio-economic challenges, their children are the most affected. Many of the survivors struggle to meet their children’s the basic survival needs. Most of all, they are unable to give their children a stable education.
CERESAV is taking on an “Educate a Survivor’s Child” initiative to address the vulnerabilities that these children are likely to face including child labor and likely child trafficking, a common problem among vulnerable populations in Uganda.
CERESAV cannot do this alone. Your support in this initiative is greatly appreciated.
