A Journey of Healing: Rebecca’s Journey with CERESAV Uganda to Face Forward International

Rebecca with Hanifa

Rebecca and Hanifa Nakiryowa (Founder of CERESAV) while in the United States at Beverley hills during her treatments process.

Acid attack survivor Rebecca, with Hanifa Nakiryowa (CERESAV founder) while she was on a special treatment journey at Face Forward International, Beverly Hills, CA.

Rebecca’s story was about staying strong after a tough experience. CERESAV Uganda, a group that supports survivors of violence, is there to help her heal.

Face Forward International, a nonprofit that helps survivors like Rebecca with free surgeries and emotional support, is known for giving free surgeries and support to survivors of violence. The Founder, who cares a lot about fellow survivors was on a tour with her while offering psycho-social support to Rebecca. This partnership shows how working together can help survivors feel better about themselves.

This journey wasn't just about fixing how Rebecca looks; it’s was also about helping her feel strong inside too. Face Forward International gives special support to deal with the tough feelings that come after something bad happens.

Rebecca and Hanifa together shows that no one has to face tough times alone. It’s a way to bring hope to survivors and let them know that people care about their healing.

This trip was a big step in the friendship between CERESAV Uganda and Face Forward International. It shows that when groups join hands, they can make a real difference in the lives of survivors. Rebecca’s journey is not just about getting better physically; it’s about feeling strong, hopeful, and getting a fresh start in life.

Rebeca's special treatment trip was a reminder that kindness and support can make a big impact. Her treatment journey is like a message of hope, showing that people from different places can come together to help survivors and make the world a better place.
