Eli Kwezira aged 7 years, is in Primary 3, Eli is one of Agnes Birungi’s children and his education is supported by CERESAV following his mother’s acid attack when she was 5 months pregnant of his sibling Miracle, despite the excruciating pain that she was a very delicate person from the day she got burnt where she lost her nose, ears and an extensive damage to her eyes. That through all that pain she managed to give birth during surgery which was also supported my CERESAV that she finally made it alive, that to date she is very disfigured and also needs continuous medical treatment, which makes her very vulnerable to support her family starting from her children. All these damages were due to domestic violence that her spouse had to go into hiding because of the offense committed. CERESAV taking on this responsibility to support this family they also need a financial muscle to provide education to this young boy to also have a chance to attain some knowledge through school. Eli is a promising young boy who really needs support. Her mother is really very helpless to hold the future of this younger boy, that where CERESAV gets involved, to also give Eli a future like others.
