Devine Nakyanzi aged 9 in Primary 3. Devine is one of Judith Alinaitwe’s Children one of our Acid survivors and her education is supported by CERESAV, following her mother’s acid attack where the whole of her back, hands and thighs got burnt, the Acid melted her rectum where she finds it hard to sit and scout, that she find hard times to even ease her self-in case of a nature call, that to date we are working hard since her treatment will need her to undergo several surgeries to enable her ease and sit again, However, she is still under treatment and needs support to go for several surgeries for the rectum and the thighs. Devine is a young girl, that we would like her to also acquire education and prepare her for the future like other children who also have parents who have the ability to support them, the only mother she has, got damages that she may not be able facilitate her education for her to achieve her dreams, CERESAV is on the journey to support this young girl become useful to the community.
