Hannington Bulime aged 11 is in Primary .7. Hannington is one of Maggie Nalumansi’s children and his education is supported by CERESAV following his mother’s acid attack which left her arm, neck and elbow badly disfigured. The acid also affected her eyes and she struggles with sight which requires periodic medical attention also catered for by CERESAV. Hannington is a very smart young man who would like to become a Doctor when he grows up. His mother is unable to help this young man’s dream come true because of the challenges she struggles with following the acid attack which include prolonged hospital stays, periodic reconstructive surgeries, limited vision which limits how much she can work. The CERESAV education Fund was established to support survivors’ children like Hudson dream like any other child. Through generous contributions to the education fund, CERESAV is able to nurture Hudson’s dream by giving him a chance to have quality education.
